Carrie loved her family and friends. Spending time with her family was her top priority. She enjoyed cooking and watching movies. Carrie was a strong-willed woman, and she was a woman of faith. To many, Carrie was a dear friend, but to her family, she will always be their Peach.
Carrie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dorothy Godsey; and aunt, Linda Howington. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Dan Bohlander; two daughters, Meghan Salyer, and Miranda Salyer; stepdaughter, Kaylyn Bohlander; stepson, William Bohlander; brother, Jason Derrick; three nieces, Tessa Neal and husband, Aaron, Elizabeth Kilgore and husband, Isaac, and Annalise Derrick; two cousins, Bobby Howington, and Donna Harrod and husband, Scott; and many other loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends at Carter-Trent Funeral Home Church Hill on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Ed McClain officiating.

This was very hard to hear when my sister called me with this very heart broken news. I was back in Tennessee this past June and was able to spend a little time with Carrie although it was brief it was very nice. My heart goes out to her momma and family this is something a parent should never have to go through. With all my love Pooh! I will see you again someday. I can only imagine what it was like to hug our Savior Jesus Christ I can only imagine. No more worries no more tears no more pain. Rejoice rejoice rejoice. See you again someday. Love Bobby!

The Good Lord called one of his best home to Heaven! She is now free, joyful, in jubilation and in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ!
I was honored to be a part of her life for a while and I will always cherish the memories and times I got to have with her and her wonderful family.
She was my wife and my best friend, who I will always hold dear in my heart and in my memories. We will meet again!
