Carrie M. Coast, 76, of Sandy Lake, passed away at her residence on January 27, 2025. Carrie was born on January 31, 1948.
Carrie was an original, feisty, strong, fighter of a woman. She loved to go to yardsales when they were up, as well as going to test her winning chances at Bingo. She would also go to Hazen motorcycle parties, but what happened there stayed there. When she was at home, she loved watching court shows, specifically Judge Judy, as well as Two and a Half Men. Carrie’s home reflected her love of the Indian heritage, for it was covered in regalia and dreamcatchers. You could also always find Pepsi in her house, always half drank. She loved clothes, her closet was always full just like her house, but she knew where everything was for it all had a place. She loved spending her time mostly with her family and grandchildren.
Carrie is survived by her children, Billie Jo (Terry) Coast, William (Amy) Lawrence Coast Jr., and Candy Ruth Coast; her grandchildren, Samuel Coast, Tommy Hoffman, Christina Coast, Trina Jewell, Andrew Jewell, Eric Coast, Michael Fair, Ashley Kiser, and Alexander Schultz; her great-grandchildren, Ashton, Aiden, Navaeh, Ivy, Makinna, Jensen, Declan, Tydus, Laylen, Krymson, Tristan, Makenzie, Andrew, Jacob, and Ava; and her sister, Ellie.
Carrie was preceded in death by her daughter, Linsey “Sissy” Coast, her sisters, Joann and Dessie, and her brothers, Dave and Sam.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, 99 Franklin St., Stoneboro, PA, 16153. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date at the convenience of her family.
