Obituary
It is with deep and profound sympathy that we announce the transition of Ms. Carrie Lee Morton Hacker who entered into rest August 28, 2023.
Ms. Hacker was a native of Edgefield County. She retired from the Richmond County Board of Education. She was a member of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Hurts, Sandra Brown and Latosha Hacker; two sons, Alexander Hacker and Deon Hacker; four sisters, Susie Johnson, Bertha Vaughn, Zora (Willie) Miller and Mary Sharpton; a brother, James (Helen) Morton; ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, September 8, 2023 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, North Augusta with Minister Ulysses Cummings officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 2:00 to 5:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
