Carrie Lynn Skipper, 62, of Jonesboro, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on June 14, 1961 in Fort Eustis, Virginia to Jerry and Carole Ann Wheeling Greitens. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Marked Tree. She taught school at Marked Tree, retired as a school counselor at East Poinsett County Schools and after retirement she taught at ASU Newport.
She is preceded in death by her husband of thirty-two years: Charles Douglas Skipper, her parents, and step mother: Joy Greitens.
Carrie is survived by her daughter: Sharleenia Winfrey (Chris) of Newport, Arkansas, three sons: Charlie Skipper of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Caleb Skipper of Little Rock, Arkansas and Josh Skipper (Linda) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, three brothers: Thomas Greitens (Lesley Hoenig) of DeKalb, Illinois and Jerry Greitens of Marked Tree, Arkansas, eight grandchildren: Destiny Skipper, Chandler Skipper, Makayla Skipper, Wyatt Winfrey, Ethan Winfrey, Owen Winfrey, Sawyer Winfrey and Rylan Skipper.
