A Graveside Service for Mrs. Carrie Blanche Rose Wade, 83, of Greenville, MS who passed on August 12th, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family will be held on Saturday August 16 at 11 A.M. at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Leland, MS. A visitation will be held from 10 A.M.-11 A.M. at Mortimer Funeral Home in Greenville, MS. Pallbearers will be Cameron Wade, Ethan Mizell, Robbie Polson, Anthony Formigoni, William Wade, and Dwayne Wade.
Carrie was born to William "Bill" and Dell Blailock in Yazoo City, MS on April 28th, 1942.
She was preceded in death by her 1st husband James Nell Mathis, her 2nd husband James Thomas Wade, and her father William "Bill" Blailock.
She is survived by her mother, Flossie "Dell" Blailock of Snellville, GA, her 5 children; Rhonda Mathis Formigoni of Madison, MS, Angela "Angie" Mathis Montgomery of Greenville, MS, William Wade of Amory, MS, Dwayne Wade(Jeanie) of Cleveland, MS, and Elizabeth "Renee" Wade of Greenville, MS, 2 sisters; Barbara Polson(Billy Bob) of Winchester, KY and Carol Pangburn of Harvest, AL, and her brother, Barry Blailock(Chelly) of Snellville, GA. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren; Carrie Harper of Fayettville, AR, Jennifer Formigoni of Satelite Beach, FL, Anthony Formigoni(Tiffany) of Saint Peters, MO, Kristin Blair of Terre Haute, IN, Lacey Wade of Ridgeland, MS, Syndey Mizell(Ethan) of Bogalusa, LA, Cameron Wade(Anna Katherine) of Bogalusa, LA, Paige Livingston of Cleveland, MS, and Lindsey Livingston of Cleveland, MS, 11 Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
