Carroll Albaugh Obituary
Born October 22, 1939 to the late Harvey M. Albaugh and Grace V. Albaugh.
Before retiring he worked for Four States Livestock Auction as a scale weigher. He especially enjoyed the times when 4-H members would bring their livestock in to be weighed for the fair.
He was a member of Haugh's Lutheran Church, Ladiesburg.
Surviving are his brother, Donald Albaugh and wife Mary Louise of Frederick; nieces, Linda Northrup and husband Ed, Bonny Hurley and husband Alan, nephew, Kevin Albaugh and wife Angie, all of Rocky Ridge; niece, Pam Crone and husband Mike of Jefferson; niece, Karin Albaugh of Florida; great-niece, Christina Hurley and great-nephews, Robert Albaugh and friend Heavin Puffenbarger, and Tyler New, all of Rocky Ridge; great-nephew, Tyler Cuffe and fiance Bethany Jordan of Greencastle; great-nieces, Michele Gregg and husband Kenan of Middletown, Jamie Albaugh of North Carolina, Heather Straley and Nicole Straley Harrison and husband Will all of Florida; and great-nephews, Cory Albaugh and wife Hannah of Frederick and Tyler Crone and wife Tristen of Emmitsburg.
He was predeceased by his parents; infant brother, Martin Luther; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Nancy Albaugh; and nephew, Todd Albaugh.
The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro on Monday, Sept. 12 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Woodsboro. Pallbearers will be Alan Hurley, Ed Northrup, Kevin Albaugh, Robert Albaugh, Tyler Cuffe and Cory Albaugh. Honorary pallbearers will be Christina Hurley, Tyler New and Heavin Puffenbarger.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rocky Ridge Volunteer Fire Company, 13527 Motter Station Rd., Rocky Ridge, MD 21778, or Frederick Health Hospice, 1 Frederick Health Way, Frederick, MD 21701.
