Carron Lea Falconberry-Nash passed away peacefully at her home on October 26, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on November 10, 1946, in Santa Fe, Indiana, she was the cherished daughter of the late Harry and Agnes (Chism) Falconberry. Carron's life was a tapestry of devotion to her family, a testament to her caring nature, and a reflection of the joy she found in simple pleasures.
Carron's journey through life was marked by her unwavering commitment to those she loved. She is survived by her son, Mike and Dawn Maloney; her beloved grandchildren, Miranda, Richard, and Shania; and her sister, Darlene, and brother-in-law, Mike Crites. Carron was a source of strength and inspiration, even as she mourned the loss of her lifelong companion, John Gilman, earlier in the year, her son Kelly Joe Maloney, her granddaughter Michelle, and her brothers Robert Falconberry, Cleatus Combs, Charles Combs, and Clifford Combs.
Professionally, Carron dedicated many years of service as a certified nursing assistant at Gladwin Rehabilitation and Nursing Home and the Gladwin Pines. Her compassionate spirit and thoughtful care left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she helped and worked alongside. Carron's colleagues and the many lives she touched will remember her as a pillar of support and kindness.
Carron's interests were a reflection of her loving and creative soul. She possessed an extraordinary talent for crocheting, once completing 900 dish towels in a single winter, each stitch a testament to her patience and artistry. Her love for flea markets was more than a hobby; it was an adventure in finding treasures and stories in the most unexpected places. Carron also found solace and excitement in the pages of a good book, often sharing her latest read with friends and family. Above all, her greatest joy was the time spent with her grandchildren, whose lives she enriched with her thoughtfulness and unconditional love.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:00 am at Lee-Ramsay Gladwin Chapel, with Pastor Tony Reynolds presiding. Friends and family may visit at the chapel from 9:00 am until the time of service.
