46 year old, Carson J. ‘CJ’ Cochran II, of LaOtto, passed away on August 29, 2025, at his home.
On December 14, 1978, CJ was born to Carson J. and Naomi Jean (Fugett) Cochran, in Crown Point, Indiana. He graduated from Kankakee Valley High School, class of 1997. Cj spent his life as a steel worker, and enjoyed his job. He spent his time working, riding his Harley, and loving on his animals.
CJ is survived by his mother: Naomi Cochran, step-daughter: Ashely Blackburn, granddaughter: Rylee Jade, and siblings: Nick (fiancé Tanya) Cochran, Adam (Amy) Cochran, and Jeremy Cochran.
CJ was preceded in death by his father: Carson Cochran.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, IN 46392. Funeral Services for CJ will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, with Pastor Larry Fugett officiating. Interment will follow at the Kankakee Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
