Carson Faust Obituary
Carson Faust, age 3, of Clarkton, NC, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2025, from complications related to Menkes Disease, just two weeks shy of his fourth birthday. Though his time with us was brief, Carson left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
Born on June 6, 2021, Carson came into this world with hazel eyes full of lights and a shock of brownish, wire-like hair that gave him a charming, Jack-Jack-like look. He was goofy, endlessly loving, and had a happiness that could brighten even the darkest day. Carson's smile-wide, infectious, and full of pure joy-had a magical was of lighting up any room and lifting every spirit.
Despite the challenges he faced, Carson was a true blessing to his family. He brought laughter, hope, and deep love into their lives. He was a courageous little soul with the biggest heart, and his presence was a gift that touched many.
Carson is survived by his devoted mother and full-time caregiver, Lydia Faust, his loving father and provider, Gregory Faust; and his beloved big sister, Kali Faust, who adored him deeply. He is also survived by his Great-Grandma, Ellen Flores, Grandma, Brenda Caulk, Paw-Paw, Richard Morphies (Cindy Morphies), uncles, Daniel Morphies (Caroline Wood), Eric Morphies, Christopher Morphies; Aunts, Renee Lashley (Jonathan Lashley), and Jodee Morphies (Andrew Williams); along with his cousins, Ashton Dallas, Jameson Morphies, Maci Lashley, Aiden Morphies, Madelyn Morphies and Da'Zamian Morphies; and a wide circle of extended family and friends who were touched by spirit.
He is now reunited in peace with his great-grandparents, Paw-Paw and Grammie; his grandma, Rhonda; his great uncle, Wayne, his uncle, Justin and his cousin, Raylon, all of whom surely welcomed him with open arms.
Carson's legacy is one of light, love, and resilience. Though he is gone far too soon, his smile, his spirit, and his love will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
In honor of Carson, the family encourages donations to organization supporting Menkes Disease research and awareness.
REST WELL, SWEET BOY. YOUR LIGHT WILL NEVER FADE.
