Carson Jack Robinson

Carson Jack Robinson was born on December 28, 1987 and left this earth on Tuesday April 23, 2024. He was just 36. He made his journey to Heaven the way we all hope to go, peacefully in his sleep.
He is survived by his father, Kerry Robinson, his mother Tammy Decker, sister Miranda Robinson (Dennis Thornton), brother Colton Robinson, sister Alexandra Darger (Steven Darger), and his nieces and nephews Jayden, Kylo, Haven and Luka. He is preceded in death by his young brother Samuel Robinson and stepmother Julie Robinson.
By the time Carson was one year old he loved everything baseball. He started with little league baseball, Babe Ruth baseball then high school baseball. He played city league baseball for ten years. Growing up Carson was a very playful and mischievous boy. He loved spending time in Richfield with his grandmother and cousins. They loved to spend time playing cards and board games. He traveled to many major league baseball cities to watch his beloved White Sox with his Father and Grandmother.
Throughout his teenage years, baseball and hanging out with his friends was his favorite thing to do. One of their favorite things to do together was skip their afternoon high school classes and hang out at Fazolies. He got a job in the lumber business and spent the next 14 years working his way up to being a manager. During this time, he bought his first house. He never had children, but he did have three cats that he adored.
Carson loved all sports, but had a passion for hockey, baseball and basketball. His favorite past times were playing or watching sports with friends and family. His favorite teams were the Chicago White Sox and the Colorado Avalanche. If anyone had a question about sports, they knew who to call. Carson always lit up a room. He was funny, witty, smart, and full of one liners. Movies were another passion of his. If anyone threw out a line from a movie, you knew Carson would jump right on the next line and it could go on for hours.
He adored his family and one day hoped to have his own. Being an uncle, and playing with his nieces and nephews, brought him so much joy. Anyone who had the pleasure to meet Carson knew he was something special.
As we remember him, we know he would remind us, "There's no crying in baseball."
All services will be held on Friday May 3, 2024. The viewing and funeral services will be held at the LDS church located at 1187 E. Draper Parkway Draper, UT. 84020 The viewing will be from 11:00am-1:00pm Services will begin at 1:15 There will be a graveside service shortly after at appx. 2:30pm at Larkin sunset gardens located at 1950 E. 10600 S. Sandy, UT 84092
A luncheon will be held back at the same church after the graveside service.
