Carter Jacob Coppock, 15, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2024. He was born on September 27, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona to Stephan and Cristal (Contreras) Coppock.
When Carter came into this world, he didn’t cry. He just looked around like he was taking everything in, soaking up the world he had just come into. As a toddler he was adventurous, curious, and walked to the beat of his own drum. Again, taking in every moment, never staying still, and always tinkering with something. Carter's generosity was evident at such a young age and would only grow as he got older. He was kind, loving and as we all know hilarious.
Carter was an athlete; trying new things at least once and it was never a shock that he was good at it all. His love of baseball took precedence and the ball field was his happy place and he often called it his home.
Carter was a best friend to many. He gave his love, time, energy, and goodness to everyone. He loved being surrounded by the people he loved and that loved him. He enjoyed gaming with friends, eating at restaurants, and the summer was his favorite time of year, making memories and living carefree for those few months.
Carter loved his family, he was a protector of his sisters and was never too big to lay in his mommas lap or hug tightly on to his dad. He made an impression on this earth and touched so many hearts. Carter’s legacy, although will not live on with children of his own, will continue to live on through the love he shared and so freely gave.
Carter is survived by his loving parents Stephan and Cristal Coppock, and his sisters, Angel and Lily.
The family will receive guests for a visitation from 1:00-3:00pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Penwell-Gabel's Olathe Chapel, with his Funeral Service following at 3:00pm.
