Caryl Anne Marcheschi

Caryl Anne Marcheschi, nee Bock; age 89; passed away peacefully October 21, 2025. Beloved wife of Leroy A. Marcheschi; loving mother of Douglas Marcheschi (Kim Ballenger), Susan Marcheschi (Cea Correnti), and Nancy Connelly; cherished grandmother of Shea and Dan Connelly, Jake and Ben Giarratano, and Dylan and Landon Marcheschi.
Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she was a proud Michigan State graduate and a devoted Spartan fan. After beginning her teaching career in Michigan, she moved to San Francisco three years later, where she met her husband and began a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure. They eventually moved back to the Chicagoland area, where they shared more than 65 wonderful years of marriage and raised a close, caring family.
An avid golfer and bridge player, she embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of fun. She enjoyed a good glass of wine, and time with dear friends. But above all, she treasured time with her children and grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her brother Douglas Bock, her mother Elizabeth Bock, nee Keihl, and her father Robert Bock.
Her family will forever be grateful for the example she set and the love she gave so freely.
A private family service will be held on November 1st. Flowers may be sent to Sullivan Funeral Home in Hinsdale, where they will be delivered to the service.
