Joan E. Marcheschi, nee Huska, age 80, native of Chicago and longtime resident of Elmwood Park, prior member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Berwyn. Joan was the devoted wife of Robert since 1964; loving mother of Adina Boyer and David (Krista) Marcheschi; cherished grandmother of Jake, Matt and Josh Boyer and Melissa and Dave Marcheschi; beloved daughter of the late Samuel Huska and the late Regina, nee Konitzer, Huska; dear sister of Janice (Phillip) Krol and the late Richard (Pat) Huska.

Joan was a Christian and her beliefs were demonstrated in everything she did. She was kindhearted, thoughtful, loyal, and caring. Wherever she saw a need, she quietly extended the love of God through her actions and in her prayers.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Gibbons Funeral Home, 134 South York Road, (½ mile North of Saint Charles Road), Elmhurst. Private interment at Mount Emblem Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Silver Birch Ranch, N6120 Sawyer Lake Road, White Lake, WI 54491. https://www.silverbirchranch.org/ This Christian camp was dear to her heart and where she ensured for many years her children went.
