Caryl C. Rohs, 83, of Roscoe, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, May 12, 2024. She was born in Newton, Massachusetts on November 12, 1940 to William and Veronica (Ward) Coulton. She married Louis E. Rohs in Newton, MA on September 3, 1960. Caryl graduated from Newton High School, Class of 1958 and attended Bradley University, Peoria, IL. She enjoyed baking, cooking, knitting, the beach, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Eric (Marge) Rohs of Kenosha, WI, Susan (David) Bieganski of Yale, Michigan and Curt (Teri) Rohs of South Beloit, IL; grandchildren, Christopher (Angel) Rohs, Leah (Patrick) Wilbert, Collin Rohs, Courtney (fiance, Antonio Gizzi) Rohs, Hannah (fiance, Mason Mueller) Rohs; great-grandchildren, Arianna and Emma Rohs; sister-in-law, Arlene Brandner; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Judy Schellenberger. Predeceased by her parents; husband, Louis; and grandson, Colton Rohs.
The family would like to thank the staff at Prairie View Assisted Living for their care of Caryl.
Funeral service will be at 3:00pm with a visitation from 2:00pm until the service on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in Honquest Family Funeral Home with Crematory-Roscoe Chapel, 11342 Main Street, Roscoe, IL 61073. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Harlem-Roscoe Fire Department.
