Casey Bacon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kerr Brothers Funeral Home - Main St. on Sep. 4, 2025.
Casey Duane Bacon, 41, of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away on August 29, 2025, in his hometown of Lexington.

Born on March 24, 1984, Casey was a proud Kentuckian who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. His contagious personality could light up any room, and he had a special gift for making others laugh, even in the toughest of times.

Casey honorably served his country in the United States Army from 2009 to 2016, a period of his life that he carried with pride and dignity. Following his military service, he worked with A&W Fencing Company in Lexington, where he was known for his strong work ethic and easygoing spirit.

An animal lover through and through, Casey had a soft spot for creatures great and small. He was especially devoted to his nieces and nephews, who brought him endless joy and whom he loved deeply.

Casey's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those who were lucky enough to know him. Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Cary Bacon (Jessica), and Chad Bacon; nieces, Cassidy Bacon, Carleigh Bacon, and Callie Bacon; a nephew, Joseph Bacon; and his beloved Estepp Family, Beverly Estepp, Lee Estepp, Lee Estepp, Jr., Michael Estepp, Wesley Estepp, and Jason Estepp. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Bacon.

A funeral service to honor Casey's life will be held on Tuesday, September 09, 2025, at 3:00 PM, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 463 East Main Street, Lexington, Kentucky, 40507. Family and Friends are invited to visitation at the funeral home from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Children's Advocacy Center of the Bluegrass and the Wounded Warrior Project in Casey's honor.
