Casey Neiman
Age 94, of Dellroy, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023. She was born Dec. 25, 1928 in Randolph, OH, a daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Mangold) Kline, and had been a Dellroy resident since 1991. Casey was a 1946 graduate of Randolph High School. She had owned and operated Neiman Travel Agency in Akron from 1974 until her retirement in May of 2001. Previously she and her husband had owned and operated Neiman Jewelry Store and Gift Shop in Akron. She also had been a realtor for Crawford Realty Co., and worked in the Jewelry Department at Yeager Department Store, where she was also the Assistant Manager of the store. Casey was a member of the Akron Executive Association, very active with the Carrollton Senior Center, where she was a Trustee and Vice-President; served six years as Representative at Area Nine meetings; volunteered at Dellroy Elementary School where she helped children learn their schoolwork. Casey was a people person and contributed to helping people throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, Harold Neiman, on Feb. 17, 1985, her daughter, Lori Neiman, and a brother, Kenneth Kline. Casey is survived by two daughters, Karyn Neiman and John Goldsmith, and Michelle Neiman; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Allyson (Daniel) Tatlow, and their children, Holden, Wyatt, and Emilia, and Victoria "Tori" Goldsmith and Adam Pawloski, and their sons, Austin and Elliot.
