It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Casey B. Sneed, who left this world too soon on September 24, 2024, in New Albany, Indiana. Born on July 9, 1994, in Louisville, Casey graced the lives of those around him with his unwavering spirit and infectious enthusiasm. His cherished role as a devoted father, loving fiancé, and steadfast son defined his life, echoing his love for family and friends.
Casey found great fulfillment in his career, working for the city of New Albany on flood control, which showcased his commitment to the safety and well-being of his community. His dedication did not stop there; Casey was known for his incredible handiwork and often lent a hand to loved ones with his myriad skills.
Among his passions, Casey had a deep love for cars, fishing, motorcycles, and four-wheelers. However, nothing brought him more joy than spending quality time with his two beloved daughters, Kaycee and Avery Sneed, and his fiancé, Kelsey Brown. The laughter and love shared among them created countless beautiful memories that will forever be cherished.
Casey was the proud son of Connie and Walter Sneed, and he is also survived by his sisters, Chasity (Chris Linch) Ellis, Jessica Muncy, Nicole Sneed, and Crisi Sneed, as well as his brothers, Justin Strickland and Andreas Cousins. His legacy is carried on not only by his immediate family but also by his grandfather, Robert Ellis, and grandmother, Connie (Jerry) Voignier. In addition, Casey leaves behind several aunts and uncles, three nieces, and four nephews, all of whom adored him dearly.
His warm presence will be profoundly missed, and although he is preceded in death by step-grandmother Judy Ellis and grandparents Roy Bunch and Doris Honeycut, Casey leaves behind a treasure trove of memories and love that will endure. He is also reunited with his beloved dog, Harley Sneed, whose companionship meant the world to him.
The visitation to honor and celebrate the life of Casey B. Sneed will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home in Southern Indiana, located at 3309 Ballard Ln, New Albany, IN.
