Cassandra Curry Obituary
ALBANY - Curry, Cassandra "Cassie", 41, passed suddenly on May 7, 2024. Cassie was born October 21, 1982 in Albany, N.Y., to Joan Emerick Curry and the late Kevin Curry.
Cassie was a hardworking, loving, big-hearted woman whose love touched everyone around her- in fact, her heart was just as big as her temper. Cassie loved working construction, always achieving new certifications and was a former member of the Local 190 Union. Throughout her life, she excelled at various sports, like gymnastics, volleyball, & pole vaulting. Cassie was a devoted dog mom to Princess and Milo, and devoted daughter, sister and aunt.
She was predeceased by her father, Kevin Curry; and grandparents, Henry and Marion Emerick, William and Connie Curry.
Cassie is survived by her mother, Joan Curry; brothers, Michael (Jess) Curry and Joe Curry. Nieces and nephew, Cailey McCarthy, Reagan Curry and Dominick Curry. Several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Calling hour, 2-3 p.m., followed by 3 p.m. service will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, N.Y. 12205.

A year ago today was your wake. It was the last day I got to touch you, to play with your hair to kiss you for the very last time! To physically see your beautiful face. I miss you horribly. It's the worst feeling in the world. I do know your still with me, I feel your presence. I can still see you clear as day, I can still hear your laugh. I know it will get easier, but will always be just different. A part of me left with you that day. But your love was so strong you left a part of you with me too. Rest in peace my beautiful girl. Soar with the Angels. Until I see you again, I will love you Aways and forever. Mom
