Cassidy Dawn Carter

A Celebration of Life Service for Cassidy Carter will be 4 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2025 at the Carmen City Park in the new Pavilion. She will be at Wentworth Mortuary, Carmen, for viewing Sunday, July 6, from 1-6pm and Monday, July 7, from 9-5. Arrangements are under the direction of Wentworth Mortuary, LLC.
Cassidy Dawn, daughter of Tracy (Bailey) White and the late Douglas Ralph Carter, was born January 10, 1987, at Lubbock, Texas, and passed away after battling MS for the past few years June 26, 2025, at Enid, at the age of 38 years, 5 months, and 16 days.
Cassidy grew up in Carmen with family and graduated from Alva High School in 2005. She made her home in Carmen and worked at a convenience store for a time. She also lived in Enid and Virginia before returning to Carmen. Her most precious accomplishment was having her daughter, Alice Marie Carter.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Robert White; her father, Douglas Carter; stepfather, Dennis Schwerdtfeger; her brother, Joshua Carter; and her sister-in-law, Cheyenne Carter.
Cassidy is survived by her daughter, Alice Marie of Carmen; her mother, Tracy White of Capron; her brother Austin Carter of Carmen; her grandfather, Jerry Bailey; her nieces, Emily Rose and Lillian Grace of Carmen; other relatives and friends.
