At Lumaha’i Beach (North Shore, Kauai), February 28, 2024, Cassidy Rosemarie Conely left this world to go home with Jesus in Heaven. The world will miss this beautiful human, with so much authenticity, depth and feeling.  At only 20-years old, Cassidy had a gentle and kind heart. She adored cute little animals, drove big trucks, loved coffee-date-sister-time and did back flips off cliffs. She was her daddy’s world, his everything, his Boo. Her safe-place and confidante was her mama. Cassidy saw the fine and beautiful details of the world.

She had sparkling blue eyes and a smirk that usually lead to something very funny or mysterious. Her loves were the ocean and water, art and self-expression, road trips with loved ones, riding her Harley and lifting heavy weight in the gym. She allowed herself to be messy and take risks. Cassidy always marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved both cozy clothes and dressing up and had an eye for doing brilliant make-up. She had a raw beauty that shined whether she was in her pajamas or ready for a night out.

Cassidy was born in Reno, NV on November 21, 2003 and moved to Hailey, Idaho in 2010 with her family.  Growing up in the Wood River Valley, she participated in 4-H, played volleyball, track and gymnastics.  You may have encountered her light and love, serving up Bowls of Soul at Java in Hailey.  She was determined to graduate Wood River High School early and accomplished that in November of 2021, 6 months before her peers.  She became a tattoo artist and owned her own shop in Boise at the age of 19. She created beautiful art as tattoos and especially loved tattooing flowers.

Cassidy’s memory will forever be cherished by her dad Jason Conely, sister Josie Conely, mom Yvonne and stepdad Robbie Walden, step-sisters Harper and Rowen Walden, grandparents Pat and Jerada Conely, grandfather Sigi Vogl (Natasha), grandmother Katherine Sterling (Don), aunt Christina Crawford (JC), aunt Jennifer Caudle (Lauren), cousin Patrick Grover, and boyfriend Rory March.  May her legacy live on through family and friends. May we remember her for being goofy, kind, messy, feeling all of her feelings, being compassionate and greeting others with a firm hand-shake.

We are so blessed and humbled by the outpouring of love and generosity witnessed during this time. Thank you for your love. As you remember the beauty and life of our girl, remember to move others to be their authentic selves, to be kind, to love others freely, to be understanding and to be brave, in the same way that Cassidy did best.
