Cassidy Piersall

Cassidy Nicole Piersall, 33, of Rock Island, IL, passed away unexpectedly from natural causes on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at her home. In honoring Cassidy's wishes, private family services were held, and cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial donations in her name may be made to the Nahant Marsh Education Center, a cause dear to her heart.
Cassidy was born on September 17, 1991, the daughter of David and Cheryl (Manes) Piersall. Throughout her life, Cassidy embraced her passions with joy and enthusiasm, such as roller-blading, cooking, thrifting, and most of all, photography. She was also the proud owner of City Photography, capturing memories and moments for others with an artist's eye/ As a Beertender at Armored Gardens, she shared her vibrant energy and made countless connections. She was often found enjoying time with her beloved dog, Izzy, or curating thoughtful care packages filled with her loved ones' favorite things, a true reflection of her creative and giving spirit. Cassidy always thought of others first, and she never hesitated to tell those around her how much they meant to her.
Cassidy's family and friends were the center of her world, and she will be forever missed by her mother, Cheryl; brothers, Shaine Mier (Linsey) and Bryant Piersall (Liana); best friends, Magen Townsend and Jessy Fisher; and her nieces and nephews, Riley, Jensen, Aubrey, Genevieve, and Remi, whom she adored deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Friday, March 14th, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Front Street Brewery Tap Room. Family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by Cassidy are invited to come together to remember and celebrate her vibrant spirit.
Cassidy's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her-her kindness, her laughter, and her ability to make anyone feel like they were loved and valued. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
