Catalina Galindo Barno, 91 of Scottsdale, Arizona was born January 24, 1934 passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 13, 2025. She is survived by her loving husband James Leo Barno and their children, Stephanie (Brad) Vieane, Jennifer House, Bryan Barno and Jeffrey (Carrie) Barno. Grandchildren: Nathan, Samantha, Hayley, Justin, Mckenzie and Gavin. Great-Grandchildren: Luke, Lila, Eliana and Slade. Sister Mary Sebastian, Brother Manuel (Mary Esther) Galindo and extended family. Proceeded into death by her parents Virginia and Frank Galindo, Sister Vera Orozco and Brother Gil Galindo.
Catalina met her husband James while working at Gabby's Department store; the two married on November 20, 1966 and were happily married for 59 years. Catalina was a homemaker until her children started school. She worked at Scottsdale high and Kiddie Campus daycare for years. When she retired she enjoyed taking care of her family and home. She had a love for Word Searches, bird watching, cheering on the Arizona Cardinals with her family and spending time with her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
Catalina was a very loving, devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and Sister. She loved her big beautiful family and will be missed by them all.
