Catherine Brantley Adams

Catherine Brantley Adams, age 82, of Sandersville, Georgia passed to join her savior on Saturday, March 4, 2023 and in accordance with her wishes she was laid to rest in a private ceremony on Sunday, March 5, 2023.
Catherine was the daughter of the late Roy and Mable Brantley also of Sandersville and she was the middle child of eleven siblings.
Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charlie Owen Adams Jr. She is survived by her four children and their families, Christopher Adams of Naples Florida, Kathy Neal and husband Mark of Harrison, Georgia, Hugh Adams and wife Tina of Sandersville, Georgia and Charlie Adams and wife Allyson of Milledgeville, Georgia.
Catherine was grandmother to Adams and Shannon Gasaway, Whitman and Cassie Gasaway, Bryant and Christy Neal, Spencer Adams, Harley and Dustin Price, Erin and Blake Harris, and Hiett, Max and Remy Adams. She was great grandmother to Graham Gasaway, Marleigh, Madison and Luke Neal and Marshall Harris.
Catherine was a lifelong resident of the Washington County community and a devout Christian matriarch whose love and kindness is the benchmark for the family to whom she devoted her life. She loved celebrating with her family, decorating her home, doting on her grandchildren, and sharing life with Owen. The family also extends blessings and appreciation for God's angels at Wrightsville Manor who became part of our family and cared for Catherine with tenderness and love.
