CATHERINE E. ANDERSON (VINEZEANO)
Age 99 of Richton Park, passed away on Sunday, February 9th, 2025 at her home in Richton Park.
Catherine is survived by her loving family, children, Linda (John) Gallagher, Patricia (Jerome) Korbel, Bill (Tina) Anderson, sister in law, Jeanne Vinezeano, brothers in-law, Donald Anderson, Edward Anderson, grandchildren, Catherine (Jim) Kapnick, John (Laura) Gallagher, Jeffrey (Elizabeth) Gallagher, Steven (Maria) Korbel, Kenneth Korbel, David (Dorothy) Korbel, Christina (Mark) Thiel, Thomas (Jan) VanderLuitgaren, Brian (Tracy) VanderLuitgaren, Laura (Justin) Grooms, Jennifer (Kurt) Hucek, Julia (Jeremy) Stebbins, Neil Bloom, Megan Anderson, 39 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen & Marietta Vinezeano (Franzese), beloved husband, "My Bill", William H. Anderson, children, Donna (Thomas) VanderLuitgaren, Barbara Bloom, siblings, Joseph (Ruth) Vinezeano, Anthony Vinezeano, Claire Anderson, Carmen (Bernice) Vinezeano and grandson Michael VanderLuitgaren.
Catherine was a very devout active member of the Catholic faith and most recent member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort. She retired from the Chicago Public School System as secretary to the principal and greatly enjoyed swimming, exercising and dancing. Her greatest love was her garden and spending time with her family.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, February 16th, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, February 17th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena, IL 60448. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Alsip IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Anthony Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated.
