Catherine M. Barlow

Catherine Marcella Barlow (Born April 19th, 1937 - Passed January 8, 2026) Lived in Chesterfield Township, MI. She was a beloved mother to four children, grandmother to eight and great-grandmother to four. Her parents were Walter and Veronica Crosby. She had a Master's degree in Education with a reading specialty and she taught elementary school for over twenty years including a reading tutorial class that she loved. She was also an avid gardener and served as president of the local Gardening Club. She is survived by her four children; Timothy Barlow and his wife Diane, Veronica Barlow, Matthew Barlow and Jennifer Barlow and her eight grandchildren; Caitlin Barlow-VanMeter and her wife Cheshire Lane, Kyle Barlow, his wife Lindsay and their son Oliver, Ryan Barlow, his wife Taylor and their children, Beckham and Layken, Rose Barlow-VanMeter, Cory Barlow and his fiancée Joanna, Cody Barlow, Blake Barlow and his wife Chloe, and Connor Barlow and his wife Alexis and their daughter Agnes. She is also survived by her sister, Elaine Hall and her brother's widow, Betty Crosby along with many nieces and nephews. Cathy's wish is to be cremated. A memorial service will take place in early spring 2026, arrangements are incomplete at this time
