Catherine C. Boyle

1933 – 2025

Catherine C. Boyle (nee Aregood) age 92 of Springfield died peacefully on July 24, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband John J. Boyle, Jr. on June 28th, 2010. Catherine is survived by her daughters Catherine C. Boyle, Donna J. Boyle, and Janet L. Boyle. Also, survived by her beloved grandchildren Brittiney Boyle and Edward Cook. Catherine was sister to the late Margaret (O'Connell), Anna, Edward, and William Aregood.

Catherine was born and raised in South Philadelphia where she was a member of St. Monica Church. After marrying John in 1958, they lived in Philadelphia for a few years prior to moving to Springfield, Delaware County where they raised their children. Catherine enjoyed her employment as Secretary for the Main Line Times. She was a devout member of St. Dorothy Parish volunteering throughout the years in many roles. After her retirement, you could find her volunteering regularly at St. Dorothy Rectory. She received much joy from that endeavor.
