Catherine D. Brown

Catherine D. Brown, 82, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. She was born in Schenectady, New York on July 28, 1943, to Henry and Norvella Brown.
Cathy was stubborn, feisty woman with a spark. She was an avid fan of I Love Lucy and The Golden Girls. She loved her stuffed animals and squishy balls, as well as coloring and flipping through her magazines while listening to her favorite music.
Cathy moved into Saratoga Bridges Finley Road home in October 2001. She resided there for 13 years before moving to the Moe Road residence. Cathy enjoyed 10 wonderful years there, then due to a decline in her health, she moved to the Ruggles Road residence in March of 2024. Her family would like to thank all the staff at Saratoga Bridges for their extravagant care and compassion towards Cathy throughout all the years. She truly considered you all her second family. Her family would also like to thank the staff at Saratoga Hospital for caring for Cathy in her final moments.
She is survived by her sister Jane Mazur (Pete), niece Christina Forfia, and nephew John E. Mazur.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, December 18 from 1pm to 3pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Memorial contributions in memory of Cathy may be made to Saratoga Bridges.
