Catherine Butera-Rizzo Obituary

Catherine J. Butera-Rizzo (nee Indovina), age 88, a resident of Naperville, IL, formerly of Chicago and River Grove, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Tabor Hills Healthcare Facility in Naperville. She was born May 10, 1933 in Chicago, IL.

Beloved wife of the late Steve Butera and the late Phillip Rizzo, loving mother of Steve (Gail) Butera of Naperville, adored grandmother of Steven (Lauren) Butera of Naperville, Scott (Bethany) Butera of Naperville and Joseph (Stacy) Butera of Plainfield, IL, cherished great-grandmother of Christopher Butera, devoted daughter of the late Anthony and Madeline Indovina, dear sister of Theresa (the late Frank) Brichetto of Chicago and the late Anne (the late Jack) Fricano, the late Connie (the late Angelo) Mulè and the late Mary Ann (the late Carlo Mareno) Indovina, fond aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2022, 9:30-10:30 AM at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville.

A celebration of Catherine's life will follow Saturday, 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Entombment: St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
