Catherine Ruth Foeks, 80, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025. She was born July 23, 1945, in Indiana to the late Robert L. and Velma Heasley Gray, was a 1963 graduate of Kiski High School, and also attended New Kensington Commercial School. Mrs. Foeks was a clerk at several local retail stores, including Ames, Hills, and Walmart, where she was department head of the crafts department. Surviving are her beloved husband of 61 years, Alfred Russell Foeks; children, Gary Russell (Teresa) Foeks, Gail Renae Foeks, Joyce Leigh (Foeks) Dzugan, and Ronald Paul (Christine) Foeks; grandchildren, Timothy James Foeks, Brittany Nicole Foeks, William Ronald Foeks, Phillip William Foeks, Richard, Ashley and Christopher Dzugan, David Akscyn Jr., and Timothy Jones; great-grandchildren, Russell Christopher Green, and Gavyn and Graydon Foeks; and brother, Thomas (Mary Ann) Gray. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, William and Connie Gray; and grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Dzugan, John Robert Dzugan, and Kristen Kathleen Schuffert. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026, in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington. Private burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
