Catherine Louise Henry

Henry, Catherine Louise of Flushing, age 74, died Saturday, February 28, 2026, at McLaren-Flint. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday. April 4, 2026, at the Mt. Morris Masonic Center, 810 North St. Mt Morris Michigan. A dinner will follow. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.

Catherine was born in Flint, Michigan on October 29, 1951, the daughter of Elmer Lee and Avis Louise (Sayer) Moomey. She married Michael Henry on October 4, 1986. Catherine worked for 35 years as a clerk at the Grand Blanc Post Office. She was an active member of the Order of Eastern Stars, Chapter 474 of Mt. Morris. Catherine was a talented bead artist, making jewelry including necklaces and bracelets. She enjoyed going antique shopping and researching genealogy. Catherine loved being a cat mom.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Michael; siblings, Richard Moomey of Flint, Edward Moomey of Flint, Bethany of Charlevoix; and numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Bonney.
