Catherine Holtkamp Obituary
She was born on Sept. 20, 1965 in Fort Madison, to Paul John and Bernice Marie Cox Holtkamp. She was a foreign exchange student in Norway and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Coralville, and enjoyed reading, animals, knitting and especially her beloved cat, Tank.
Cathy is survived by eight siblings: James (Jackie) Holtkamp of Burlington, Ann (Keith) Cumalander of Montrose, Colo., Mary (Larry) Hawes of Argyle, Margaret (Raymond) Robbins of Fort Madison, Theresa (Ted) Moeller of St. Paul, Rose Holtkamp of Windsor, Colo., Patricia (Robert) Walker of Fort Madison and John (Christie) Holtkamp of Canby, Ore. and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church in Fort Madison. A memorial mass will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Gary Beckman officiating. Burial will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Cathy's memory. I remember Cathy very well, I remember she always liked cats,I remember she came up to visit us in Boscobel with Bernice and Paul, oh such a shame, ill be praying for her soul and for the whole family
