Catherine (Morris) Killoran

Catherine Morris Killoran, born July 15, 1952, passed peacefully on October 19, 2025.

She attended Immaculate Conception School, Newburyport High School, and Colby College where she earned a degree in Psychology and Art. She later attended Northeast University where she earned a master’s degree in education.

Cathy was a teacher at Amesbury Elementary School, Director of Education at the US Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville,AL and Assistant Director of Activities at the Senior Center, Kent, CT.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robin Killoran, of Kent, CT, and her parents, Natalie Canepa, and William Morris. They resided in Newburyport.

Catherine is survived by her brother John Morris and his wife, Lisa, their children, Ben and Johanna; her uncle, Dick Canepa; and several cousins; and her former husband Stephen Colella. She leaves a large circle of friends including Martha Bagni Shulman who was her dear caretaker over these past few years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MSPCA at 347 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA; the Colby College Class of 1974 Scholarship Fund, Colby College, Waterville, ME 04901.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 11 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Church, 42 Green Street, Newburyport, MA. Funeral arrangements were made by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury, MA 01913.
