Catherine Thomas Kimbrough, 92, Hopkinsville, passed on Sunday, November 19, 2023 in Christian Co.
Catherine was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Mosie Lee White Brasher. She was born April 17, 1931, in Christian Co.
Catherine enjoyed shopping, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family. Because she was so nurturing, she raised several children, her grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved being around people.
She was a member of First Street Baptist Church and attended Refugee Hope of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Husband, Ralph A. Kimbrough, Sr.; Daughter, Beverly D. Kimbrough; Siblings, Dorothy Chambers, Vera Lewis, Cleo Robertson, Avill Brasher, and Johnny Thomas.
Survivors include her children, Linda Kimbrough, Sandra (Clayton) Powell, and Ralph J. (Donna) Kimbrough, Dr. Ralph (Felecia) Kimbrough; Siblings, Renota Hayes, Brenda Brasher, Larnell Brasher, and Valeria Ewing, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 34 great great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Catherine watched my sisters and me in the nursery at First Presbyterian Church when we were little. She always had a smile and a kind word to say. I always enjoyed being around her.
