Phyllis Alicia Williams, daughter of the late James R. and Katie E. Hutchinson Williams, was born on November 14, 1960, in Christian County, Kentucky.

Phyllis accepted Christ as her personal savior and joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church. For several years, Phyllis worked as a home health nurse at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her daughter, Phyllicia Clarice Williams; sisters, Geraldine U. Smoot, Mamie L. Hopkins, and Elveta L. Culler; and brothers, James Lotus Williams, George E. Williams, Jewell D. Williams, Albert R. Williams, and Donald E. Williams.

On Monday, March 9, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital, Evansville, Indiana, Phyllis departed from this life. She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Eddrecus Jamaal Williams Sr.;grandson,Eddrecus Jaamal Jr.; brothers, Larry E. Williams, Anthony D. Williams and Darryl J.(Retonya)Williams; sisters, Annis Gwen (Marcus) Johnson, Charlotte (Billy) Ray; grandson; 17 nephew, 13 nieces, 21 great-nephews, 23 great-nieces, 4 great-great nephews, 8 great-great nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
