CATHERINE REID KOBE - The most amazing beautiful Mother, Grandma, Aunt and Friend to all, passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 83. Though Catherine had a successful career for many years in the family business at Reid Psychological Systems, she would always say her true success was the family she loved so dearly and the relationship she had with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Catherine was a graduate of Mercy High School. She married Terrance Kobe in 1960. The last 25 years of Catherine's life were spent enjoying "the best of both worlds" traveling between her homeland of the Midwest Chicagoland and The Villages, FL where dear friends became her "Florida family".Catherine is survived by her daughters Lisa (Michael) Hoerler, Kristin (Christopher) Mantel, Kathryn Stevens, Carolyn Bonessa. She is the cherished grandmother of Kobe Lynn (Kyle) Paul, Alexandra (Philip) Auriemma, Jackie, Steven, Kay and Danny Mantel, Jillian (Brian) Sopcich, Sami Bonessa (Dale Ashby), CJ Bonessa; great grandmother of Audrey, Dominic and Aiden. She is the dear sister of the late Mary Eileen Swanson, Carole McCourt, Margaret Reid and late brothers Tom and Dan Reid. She was the devoted daughter of the late Daniel J. and Bertha Reid.We look forward to the "good day" that is coming soon, to be re-united again with this incredibly loving woman who has joined the angels.
