Catherine Lucas Obituary
February 8, 1961 - March 5, 2025
Catherine E. "Cathy" Lucas, age 64, of Council Bluffs, passed away March 5, 2025, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital. Cathy was born February 8, 1961, in Council Bluffs to Gerald and Memory Ann (Chesser) Boham. She graduated from Omaha South High School in 1979 and attended Omaha College for Health Careers. Cathy married Thomas Lucas on September 27, 1980, in Omaha. They were blessed with three children, Thomas, Nicole, and Elizabeth. Cathy was a dental assistant for William Gress, D.D.S. for 12 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Memory Boham in 2016. Cathy is survived by her husband of 44 years, Tom Lucas; son, Tom; daughters, Nicole (Nathan) Skipper, Elizabeth (Loren) Bailey; 4 grandchildren, Tom, Nathan, Kaden, and Carter; father, Gerry Boham; sister, Connie Barbas; nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Funeral service, Wednesday, 2:00 p.m. at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. A lunch will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Visitation with the family, one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will direct memorial contributions.
