Catherine H. McClearn, 83, of Centerville, MA, passed away on May 30, 2025. Catherine was born in Dorchester, MA, on February 22nd 1942 the daughter of the late John and Alice (Casey) Hennessy. She grew up in the Saint Peters' Parish of Dorchester and attended Cardinal Cushing High School, Class of 1960.
Catherine worked as Head Lab Histologist for Boston City Hospital for over 18 years. She was a great skier, dancer, golfer, bowler, and yoga enthusiast. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and summers on the Cape in Centerville. She and Tom spent their retirement years in Naples, FL where they enjoyed swimming, going to the beach with extended family, and dancing. Catherine was an active member of a book club and Women Who Care charity in Centerville, MA.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Prather, and brother, John Hennessy. Catherine is survived by husband, Thomas and her two devoted children, Allison Dickhart and her husband Charles of Wayne, PA, Julie Dinsmore and her husband, Chris of Watertown, MA; her caring brothers, William Hennessy and wife Susan of Reading and brother Edward and wife Patricia of Tewksbury, and Robert Hennessy of Framingham; and two cherished grandchildren, Lilian and Lukas; along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 10am on Wed June 4th at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Centerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow beginning at 11am. Burial to follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Hyannis.
