Donald Bruce McClearn

Donald Bruce McClearn, 85, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born on September 17, 1940, in Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of the late Carl Neade McClearn and Fleda Ferne Hause McClearn.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he achieved the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. Throughout his years of service, he was known for his unwavering dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence. He put his full effort into everything he set out to do and led by example, earning the respect of those who served alongside him.

A hardworking man both in and out of uniform, Donald was passionate about his family and devoted to ensuring they were always well cared for. His strength, love, and reliability formed the foundation of his home and inspired everyone around him. He believed in doing things the right way; with heart, pride, and purpose.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fleda and Carl McClearn. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Evelyn McClearn (Klemstein), along with a host of extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
