Catherine Monte Obituary
She is survived by her husband Joseph Monte of 55 years, her son Christopher (Emanuelle) Monte, her grandson Gabriel Monte, her daughter Denise (Wayne) Hamm, her granddaughter Madilyn Hamm and her grandson Jason Hamm, her brother-in law George Anton, nephews Nick (Tiffany) Anton and daughters Sophie, Libby, and Vivian, Nick Milionis and son Ian, Louie (Erin) Milionis and children Lia, Adam, and Teddy, and Maria (Stelios) Melaxainou and daughter Marialena.
Catherine was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church and a member of the Philoptochos Society. She was a lifelong homemaker and an excellent cook who loved to entertain and enjoy spending time with family and friends. She loved doing tai chi and having lunches with the girls. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be on Monday, November 8, from 11am to Noon at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main Street, Hendersonville, TN, 37075), followed by a funeral service starting at Noon at Hendersonville Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Hendersonville Funeral Home and Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Monte, Wayne Hamm, Jason Hamm, Louis Milionis, Nick Anton, and Tim Monte. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
