Catherine Nelson Obituary

Catherine graduated high school in 1960 and went on to work in healthcare as a nurse's assistant. After many years of dedication, she retired from Baptist Health in 2001. She was also a longtime and faithful member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church.
In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with friends, shopping, and going to the casino.
Catherine will be fondly remembered for being sweet, friendly, kind-hearted, and humorous. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Mae Coakeley; her father, Floyd Nelson; and her sister, Ruthie Johnson.
Those left to cherish memories include her daughter, Constance Williams; her son-in-law, Steven Williams; along with many cousins and friends who will cherish her memory.

Many fond memories of Catherine working the night shift in the Emergency Department. She kept the night shift straight and don't mess with Catherine or her coworkers. Fly high and rest in peace.

Catherine will be missed dearly I had the pleasure of working with her in the ER at Baptist for many years working 11-7 shift. Rest Easy RIP
