Catherine Nocella Obituary
Catherine V (Kitty). October 14, 2025. Beloved Mother of Bernadette M. Nocella. Dear Sister of Ralph (Elaine) Nocella, Richard (the late Mildred) Nocella, Thomas (Mary) Nocella, and the late William (Loretta) Nocella, Joseph (Rita) Nocella, Marie (Frank) Iovacchini, and Ronald Nocella. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, as well as her sidekicks Jewel and Vinnie, and many loving friends.
Thanks and praise to Dr.'s Kasmi (Oncology) and Wilson (Radiation Oncology), as well as their staffs, the Nurses at Penn infusion, as well as their staffs over the years for the excellent care and attention they provided. And for receiving top notch hospice care the last two month from Samaritan Hospice and allowed Catherine to die with pain free grace and dignity.
Relatives and friends are invited to her VIEWING Wednesday Evening October 22, 2025 7:00PM to 9:00PM at THE MONTI RAGO FUNERAL HOME 2531-35 S. Broad St. And Thursday Morning October 23, 2025 9:00AM at the Church of St. Rita of Cascia, 1166 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19146. Followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00AM. INT. SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family requests contributions be made to The National Shrine of St. Rita of Cascia 1166 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19146, The American Cancer Society 1818 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19103, or Samaritan Hospice 3906 Church Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.

I worked with Kitty for ten years at the Curtis Center (Jefferson Hospital Business Office). She was a sweet and kind soul! She was also encouraging and bought several of my children's books for her grandkids. I miss the days of pre-covid and old Jefferson when we were all a family and enjoyed working together. Your presence was always a blessing. May God bless your spirit and may you be steeped in God's perfect peace, love, and joy.

I worked with Kitty for many years. I loving called her my Kit-Kit. She was a no non-sense strong woman. LOL! She had no problem letting you know exactly what was on her mind. We had many conversations, good times, and laughs. Once she retired, we remained in contact and our talks and laughs continued. She talked about her daughter Bernadette so lovingly, she adored her. I will truly miss my Kit Kit. May God continue to bless Kitty and the family.
