Catherine Mary Olkiewicz

Catherine Mary Olkiewicz, age 69, of Wautoma passed away peacefully Sunday, May 19, 2024 at her home.  She was born April 30, 1955 in Chicago, the daughter of William J. and Mary P. (Murtagh) Higens.  She married Alan R. Olkiewicz on November 28, 1978 in Chicago.  Catherine worked in customer service for the corrugated board business for over 30 years.  She retired and moved with Alan to their beloved cottage on Porters Lake in 2021 from Hartford, Wisconsin.  Catherine was an exceptionally devoted and cherished wife, mother, sister, and friend. Catherine loved life and left this world too soon.

Catherine is survived by her husband Alan; her children: Jennifer, Christopher (Sherry) and Joseph; her siblings: Debra and Noran (Gloria).  She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother James.  

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Wautoma.  The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma from 4 PM – 6 PM and again on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 AM until the time of Funeral Services.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectively requests that donations be made in Catherine’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
