Catherine C. "Cathy" Pank, 79, passed away Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.
Cathy was born in Louisville on February 4, 1943 to the late Joseph B. and Mabel McIntyre Filiatreau. She was a former mail clerk at Corporate Mailing Concepts and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
She was an artist, and loved to paint mainly landscapes. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, Bernie, twins Mary and Jimmy, Kay, Alma, Martha and John.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 59 years, William F. "Bill" Pank; children, Katie Bennett (Jeff), Jenny Oberst (Paul, Sr.), and Tony Pank (Tia); six grandchildren, Zach and Annie Bennett; Paul Jr., William, and Tucker Oberst; Cora Pank; one sister, Libby Filiatreau.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, November the 28th from her parish church, St. Margaret Mary, 7813 Shelbyville Road at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the WHAS Crusade for Children and online condolences may be shared at www.ratterman.com.

I was blessed that fate made you my sister-in-law. Your warmth, thoughtfulness, and sense of humor made my days brighter. We may not have been sisters in blood, but we were truly sister in heart.

I will miss you dear Cathy!
