Catherine Paske

Catherine W. Paske, 97, died September 25, 2022 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Bolivia, NC.

At her request, no immediate service will be held. She will be laid to rest in Rock Lilly Cemetery in Winslow, IL.

She was born June 30, 1925, in Freeport, IL to Jacob Schenberger and Nora Felsch. Catherine went to grade and high school, in Winslow, IL where she won an award of which she was very proud, for having perfect attendance for all 12 school years.

Catherine met Huber (Pat) Paske in school and they were married on, May 26, 1944. They shared 55 years of marriage until his death on Feb. 16, 1999. They lived in Palatine, IL for 65 years. They had one child, a son, Scott Paske.

Late in life, she moved to Clifton Park, NY and ultimately to Southport, NC to live her final years near Scott and his wife Kathleen. She was very fond of her granddaughters, Scott & Kathy's girls, Amanda and Danielle. She was also blessed to have lived a long life, to have met and spent time with her great-grandson, William J. Leggett, before she was called to her final rest.
