Born in Jefferson City, MO, Catherine resided most of her life in the Long Valley, NJ area.
She was a homemaker and she enjoyed tennis, bridge, boating, and gardening. She especially enjoyed family vacations to the Florida Keys and the Jersey shore. Most of all, she loved attending her grandchildren's activities.
She was a Volunteer for many years at The Seeing Eye in Morristown, NJ and was a member of the DAR in Princeton, NJ.
Predeceased by her parents E. Harry and Wilma Larsen Bennett, and her husband Fletcher N. Platt, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Wendy P. Wilton and Laura C. Platt; her 5 grandchildren, James, Jack, Macaela, Noel, and Sean; and several cousins.
Funeral Services will be private.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date to be announced.
Arrangements are by the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home 40 Vandeventer Avenue Princeton, NJ 08542.
