Catherine Jean "Kate" Plump, 53, of Wadesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Deaconess Hospital Midtown Campus.
Kate was born on December 1, 1971, in Evansville to Dolores (Rexing) Plump and the late Bill Plump. She worked as a hairdresser and later as a team leader at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana before her health caused her to no longer be able to continue. She enjoyed boating, watching NASCAR, sitting around the campfire with family and friends and supporting North Posey softball.
Surviving Kate are her mother, Dolores (Rexing) Plump Masterson; a sister, Julie (Gary) Gentil; brothers, Randy (Brenda) Plump and Ron Plump; step sisters, Carrie Masterson, Dana (Ken) Harrison, Jodie (David) Brown and Hilary (Curt) Duckworth; stepbrothers, Stephen (Gihan) Masterson, Walter (Karen) Masterson, Dan (Allison) Masterson, Nick (Laura) Masterson, Luke (Andrea) Masterson and Robert (Stephanie) Masterson; thirty-three nieces and nephews, three great nephews and a great niece.
In addition to her father, Kate was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dan Masterson and by a niece, Lilian Duckworth.
According to Kate's wishes there will not be a public visitation or funeral service. Burial will take place in St. Wendel Catholic Church Cemetery.

Dolores, we are so saddened to hear Cathy has passed. I had not seen her since i retired from St Vincent (in the MRI dept). Mom told me this morning since i dont get the paper. I know she will be missed deeply. Jenny Cunningham and Norma Thomas.
