Catherine Louise Pollom passed away on September 19, 2024 with family by her side. She was born to the late Jack and Jean (Nummy) Pollom in Norfolk, VA on March 13, 1955.
Catherine graduated from Goodrich L.P. High School in 1974. She spent many years working for the State of Wisconsin in early childhood.
She loved playing BINGO, coloring and doing her crosswords. She was a very talented drawer. Catherine enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and loving on ALL of her grandchildren!
Catherine is survived by five children: Jean (Davis) Tosh, Yolanda (Joe) Hannes, Misty (Matt) Baumgartner, Roberta Tosh, and Glenn Tosh; 15 grandchildren: Nick (Tami) Tosh, Carissa (Zach) Dittel, Katlin & Christopher Wachholz, Zachary & Brett Theisen, Avery & Hunter Hannes, Hayden Keys, Johnathan Peebles, Tattum Abitz, Adyson, Easton, Cashton, and Teagan Tosh with another grandson on the way; Five great grandchildren: D.J., Layne, and Jahred Tosh, Ema and Leo Dittel, August and Carter Wachholz. She is further survived by two brothers: John D "JD." (Jody) Pollom and James A. "Andy" (Linda) Pollom; one uncle: Jess A. "Tony" (Ellen) Pollom, nieces, nephews and many other loved ones.
In addition to her parents, preceding Catherine in death are her loving son, John August Wachholz, two granddaughters, Alexis Mae Tosh and Ashlyn Jean "Peanut," one great-grandson, Ian Edward Dittel, two sisters, Theresa Lynn Kimpel and Debralee Nummy James, her lifelong best friend, Betty L. Benedict and maternal and paternal grandparents.
SERVICES: Catherine's family invites relatives and friends on Thursday, September 26th to Ledgeview Memorial Park, N6250 County Road K, Fond du Lac, for a graveside service at 3:00 p.m.
Catherine's family is grateful to SSM Hospice for their compassionate care in her ending days.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.
