Catherine (Hagenbuch) Smith of Perkasie, PA passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023 in the Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, PA. She was 65.
Born in Highland Park, MI she resided in Norristown, PA and Bandung, Indonesia before moving to Perkasie, PA in 2008.
Catherine was a graduate of Adams High School of Rochester, MI and received a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Pathology from Michigan State and a Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling from Missio Seminary in Philadelphia. She was a home educator and missionary with her husband. Catherine was a member of the beading group in Quakertown and was active with the women's ministry with Living Hope Community Church.
She was the beloved wife of 43 years to Kenneth Smith; devoted mother of Jesse Smith (Megan), Johnmark Smith (Karisa), Joel/Emily Smith and Paul Andrew Smith (Fiancé Hannah Thomas); cherished daughter of Rachel Ann (Hess) Hagenbuch and the late Charles C. Hagenbuch, Jr.; dear sister of Peter Hagenbuch (Julie) and Daniel Hagenbuch (Maureen); loving grandmother of Tegan, Harper, Norah, Liam and Declan.
A memorial service will be held at Living Hope Community Church, 22H West Route 313, Perkasie, Pa 18944 on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 3:00 pm. The family will receive their friends from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Women's Ministry at Living Hope Community Church https://livinghopepa.churchcenter.com/giving or the American Cancer Society https://donate.cancer.org/ would be appreciated.
