Elizabeth J. Pekol

Elizabeth J. Pekol of Lansdale, PA passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026. She was 80 years old.

Born in Lycoming County, PA, she resided in Roxborough, PA, Buffalo Grove, IL, Lansdale, PA, Chalfont, PA before her final residence at Elm Terrace Gardens, Lansdale, PA.

She was formerly employed as a licensed practical nurse with Brighten at Ambler for 14 years. Elizabeth was a former member of St. Jude Church of Chalfont, PA, Corpus Christi and St. Stanislaus Churches of Lansdale, PA. She enjoyed gardening, reading, watching the Game Show Network and being involved with many activities at Elm Terrace Gardens such as shuffleboard and Rummikub with her dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Bertha (Banco) Brown. She was the beloved wife of the late Leslie Francis Pekol; devoted mother of Deborah Conniff (Tim), Katherine Schuchardt (Jay), and Daniel Pekol (Wendy); dear sister of the late Beatrice Larrimore (late Walter), Howard Story and Bob Story; loving grandmother of Patrick, Ryan, Katelyn, Tommy, Samantha and Leslie; cherished aunt of Scott Larrimore and Neil Larrimore and grand aunt of Laura, Madeline and Zachary.

The family would like to thank the staff at Elm Terrace Gardens, Doylestown Hospital Cardiac Care Unit and Jefferson Lansdale ICU for the tremendous care she received.

The family will receive their friends at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446 on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9:30-10:30 am, with a Funeral Mass to begin at 10:30 am.

Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA followed by a celebration of life luncheon at Elm Terrace Gardens.
