Edith "Sis" Miller

Edith R. Miller of Furlong, PA passed away, surrounded by family, on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the Liberty Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Doylestown, PA. She was 94 years old.

Edith was born in Furlong, PA on December 14, 1931 to the late Raymond W. Rogers and Frances (Heston) Rogers. Edith was a lifelong resident of Furlong, PA.

Edith graduated from Buckingham High School and later was a self-employed beautician in her home for over 50 years. She also worked as a beautician at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington, until she retired. She was a member of the Glee Club, band and basketball team in high school. She was an avid Phillies fan and spent many hours attending stock car races or watching Nascar on TV. Edith always seemed to have country music playing. Edith, and her childhood friend, Rosemarie Simon, spent days travelling around the country together. One of her greatest joys was watching her grandchildren play baseball and volleyball.

She was the beloved wife of the late Russell W. Miller; devoted mother of Barry Miller, Timothy Miller and wife Carol, and the late Lori Miller; loving grandmother of Tyler Miller and wife Tara, Dana Miller and fiancé Michael Wenger, and Jason Miller.

The family will receive their friends at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 AM, with a service to begin at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow at Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Warwick, PA. Friends and family are invited back to Forest Grove Presbyterian Church afterwards.
